SAFFRON

Aromatic strands of crocus sativus Saffron has been cultivated for more than millenniums in Iran and is the strategic agricultural products of Iran which more than % 90 of world production of this Treasure of Spice, comes from hear every year. It qualifies as the most expensive spice as the saffron price per kilo is higher than that of any other spice on earth. The vivid crimson stigmas and styles, called threads, are collected and dried to be used mainly as a seasoning and coloring and aromatic agent in food, pastries, beverages, pharmaceutical, etc.

NEGIN

This kind of saffron is similar to common saffron, but it’s thicker (thread) and having minimum amount of fracture. Negin saffron is pure without the style, rich in fragrance and has the highest coloring power (higher than 250 usp) among the other kinds. It’s fantastic in terms of size and beauty. Iranian Negin Saffron is the most expensive Saffron in the world.

SARGOL

This kind of saffron is similar to coupe and it is derived from Bunch saffron, i.e. the white or yellow parts of saffron threads are cut by scissors and then using static electricity they are separated from the red parts. The remaining parts are completely red and they are really pure and without style. Its coloring is rich and a little break is seen in the threads. This kind of saffron has very high coloring power (240 usp or higher).

POUSHAL

This kind of saffron contains threads with 2 or 3 mm style. The presence of style (white or yellow part) gives a great fragrance and its coloring power is about 220 usp.
